Trusting God's Provision

As I sit here on day three of my new full-time adventure, I can’t help but have a few "pinch me" moments. Is this really happening right now? Am I out of my mind/crazy? Did I really leave behind a stable job with a steady income to pursue this? And most importantly, will God truly provide for us in this journey?

The answer to all of those questions is a resounding "yes."

Yes, this is real. Yes, when "crazy" is defined as "wildly enthusiastic," that’s exactly how I’d describe myself! I am full of passion for sharing Jesus with others and growing this amazing community we’ve built here at To Be Known. Did I leave behind a stable job and income? Yes, I did. And will God provide for my family and this ministry through my obedience? Absolutely, yes.

What makes this journey even more beautiful is knowing that Jesus is faithful, and I’ve seen it time and time again in the lives of others—and my own. I’ve witnessed miracles firsthand. In fact, I’ve seen God work miracles in my own family.

I’ve seen Jesus heal my daughter’s heart before her heart surgery. I’ve watched Him break powerful chains of bondage in my marriage. When struggling with infertility before Wyatt, He sent multiple people to prophecy over us. Again and again, God has proven His faithfulness, and every time, I’ve had to surrender my fears to Him and trust in His provision, even when things seemed impossible. You see... God is STILL moving and still doing miracles. Praise Jesus for that!

1 John 3:1 reminds us of God’s incredible love: “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.”

At To Be Known, our heart’s desire is to make Jesus KNOWN to the world. And you can be a part of that mission.

If you’d like to partner with us in what God is doing here in Southern Maryland and beyond, we invite you to prayerfully consider supporting To Be Known. Your financial donations are tax-deductible and help us continue our mission to make Jesus known and inspire real faith here in our communities.

We serve a limitless God. Nothing is impossible for Him. Just as manna fell from the sky, I believe that To Be Known will never lack for provision—because God will always provide. If you're interested in donating, you can learn about it here: www.tobeknownministries.org/donate. There are multiple ways to give (monthly or by one time donation), and even a place to help towards a salary for me here at To Be Known, which my family and I would very much appreciate. I'm SO looking forward to what God does here as we take the next right step. Thanks for being a part of this incredible journey. - Brittany
